Tom Beardslee

A few days ago the talented Tom Beardslee visited the OSU Urban Arts Space to perform. Tom, a lecturer and student at The Ohio State University, performed songs from a diverse range of music. In addition to playing guitar, Tom played a lap steel, which was actually the first electric instrument. Between songs he shared humorous anecdotes about song writing and using espn 2 as insperation, insights into the history of rock and roll, and even interpretations of bizarre lyrics such as “you don’t want to dust my broom mama, unless you want to end up in jail.” For more information about Tom Beardslee check him out on myspace.
