Artists Add Color

Some of the most exciting times to work at the OSU Urban Arts Space are during installations and transitions between exhibitions. There's a nice buzz of activity and movement, but also the artists and curators pop into the Space often.

Fredrik Marsh gave our whole staff a walkthrough of his photography exhibit, Transitions: The Dresden Project, last week. Christpher Steele has been around this weekend, installing his penny scales exhibit, The American Weigh. Yesterday he gave some hungry staffers (like me!) jellybeans and gumballs left over from a few of his machine pieces. :)

Speaking of artists adding color, SallyB, artist of Tactile Color, has been generously bringing warmth and color to the Space throughout her exhibition, giving discussions, workshops, and stopping by for visits. Unfortunately, Tactile Color closes this weekend, but there's still time to see it this week. Dear SallyB, we will miss your personal touch here!
